SmartScore™ Wrestling System- Penn State University

IDS has partnered with Sage Technology Solutions of Mount Joy, PA to develop and implement a revolutionary new scoring system that is destined to become the new standard for scoreboard management at college and major-league sports events. This special version was developed on behalf of Penn State University, and utilizes leading edge technologies in software, high definition video, and wireless networking for a fully customizable, precise, and easy-to-use scoring system.

This system is installed in Penn State's new Wrestling Room at the Rec Hall sports facility. It features realistic and highly functional scoreboard display output on four independently managed Hi-Definition TVs; matches are controlled through a Tablet PC running on an 802.11g wireless network, and provides the ability to display team names and logos, wrestler names, a color-sensitive time advantage clock, the ability to define scrollable messages, and even sound a clock buzzer through the audio system.
